Ask your MP to Present a Petition in the House Supporting a PEI Demonstration Project

How to:

1. Secure agreement from your MP to present the petition in the House.

2. Download the Petition.

3. Collect 30 handwritten signatures with addresses.

4. Give the original signed petition to your MP to present in the House.

5. Your MP will submit the petition for formatting approval to the clerk of petitions.

6. Once approved, your MP can present the petition in the house. You can consult the Hansard record for a video of the presentation.

5. Responses from appropriate Minister(s) are required to be provided within 45 days of your MP’s presentation.

Ask Your MLA to Present a Petition in the NS Legislature Calling for the Formation of an All-Party Committee to Study How to Implement BIG in NS

How to:

2. Collect 3 or more hand-written signatures with addresses from NS residents

3. Ask your MLA to present the petition in the NS Legislature (MLA’s can present petitions even if they do not agree with them).
